As usual we met more delightful guests this past weekend!  Excellent food and adventurous game drives kept everyone entertained.

What a blast of a weekend!  Leisure weekends are always fun-filled at Monate, with game drives, sundowners, horse trails, clay pigeon shooting and our new buggies on offer…

Mr & Mrs Meyer had an early start for morning game drive, but it was worth it as many sightings of game like hippo, crocodile & the cheetah were made!

Sadly the weekend was a bit windy with a few sandstorms, but guest didn’t let it detour them from having a good time… and many promises of future returns were made!

Travel home safely, we look forward to seeing you all again soon!

Monate staff welcomed back Exxaro for a conference this week..

Delegates was hard at work most of the time, but did however manage to squeeze in some time for a well-earned game drive and relaxing sundowners on the reserve.

Marina & Ron are officially now part of the family at Monate & enjoyed 4 peaceful nights in mother nature’s silence.  Happy Birthday to Ron & here’s to many, many more at Monate.  Till next time!

Without any warning, temperatures have soared and guests are starting to sit around our crystal clear pools, sipping on cocktails, bathing in the warm afternoon sun.  The pool water has yet to warm a little before anyone dives in, except for Halo, of course, who swims in any conditions!!

We met some new guests and, as always, saw familiar faces too.  It’s always sad when the weekend comes to an end, but here’s to many more visits!

The last few days at Monate was filled with excitement as we hosted two Government Conference groups (Department of Science and Tecnology, and G-Fleet), Spar (Good For You!) and a group of leisure guests!!

As usual our Natural Cave and mouth-watering Potjies was a big hit with our cheetah/rhino sightings and new buggies strong in second place!

Monate introduced their new buggies this weekend, to all the guest’s delight!!!  After having a peep at the hippos out of the water, they saw the rhinos with little baby, as well as our giraffe family.  Other guests had an even better time during horse trails, while our game drives are always an awesome adventure! 

We celebrated Keith’s 20th Birthday, our newest Ranger addition.  “HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEITH”

Monate entertained a group of leisure guests this weekend, everyone had a wonderful time going on horsetrails, gamedrives, playing swingball and many other activities Monate offers. 

One of the big highlights according to our guests was stopping for sundowners during game drive enjoyed around a warm fire!

Halo had a wonderful time, playing with miss & mr Mosterd…….. still feeling very sorry for himself having to say goodbye

Many promises of future returns were made, we do hope to see all of you again soon!!

44 Delegates from Crown Cellular and Blue Label visited Monate this weekend for conferencing and team building.

Guests enjoyed a long night of Poker games accompanied with cigars and mouth-watering Halaal snacks from our local caterers.
